About Eggy Car
Eggy Car is a free physics-based driving game where the simplest goal — drive your car forward — becomes a delicate balancing act. A fragile egg sits on top of your car. Hit a hill too fast and it flies off. Crawl too slowly and you get nowhere. Find the sweet spot, and every meter feels like a small victory.

What Is Eggy Car?
Eggy Car is an HTML5 browser game built around a single elegant mechanic: a soft-body egg balanced on a moving vehicle. The terrain is procedurally bumpy, your car has real physics, and the egg follows its own gravity. Your job is to combine throttle and brake to keep the egg in place across an endless track. The further you go, the bigger the hills get.
Key Features
- 🥚 Physics-driven gameplay — egg, car, and terrain all simulate real momentum
- 🎮 Two-button control — anyone can pick it up; mastering it takes hours
- 🏞️ Endless procedural hills — every run is different
- 🏆 Personal best tracking — push your distance record higher each session
- 📱 Mobile + desktop ready — same game, touch or keyboard
- 🚗 Unlockable cars — collect coins to swap into faster, stranger vehicles
- 🔓 Unblocked everywhere — runs in any modern browser, no Flash, no plugins
How to Play
The control scheme is intentionally minimal. You only need two inputs:
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| → or D | Accelerate / move forward |
| ← or A | Brake / reverse slightly |
| Touch right side of screen | Accelerate (mobile) |
| Touch left side of screen | Brake (mobile) |
| R | Restart after the egg cracks |
Tips & Strategy
- Approach hills slowly, descend faster. The egg lifts off most often on the upswing of a steep hill. Crawl up, then let gravity do the work going down.
- Tap the brake at the top of every peak. A short brake-pulse before a crest keeps the chassis level and the egg seated.
- Don't chase coins past your skill level. Coins floating high above the track are bait. If you launch off a ramp to grab one, the egg almost always bounces. Skip them until you're confident.
- Use small reverses to settle the car. If you stop on a slope and the car is tilting, a quick reverse-tap re-centers the suspension and steadies the egg.
- Unlock the heavy cars first. Faster cars look fun but heavier ones are forgiving — extra weight dampens bumps and protects the egg.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Eggy Car free to play?
Yes. Eggy Car runs entirely in your browser at no cost. There's no signup, no paywall, and no installer.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The whole game loads in your browser tab. Close the tab and you're done — nothing left on your device.
Can I play Eggy Car on mobile?
Yes. The game is touch-friendly. Tap the right side of the screen to accelerate, the left side to brake. Works on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Is Eggy Car unblocked at school?
Most school networks allow this site because it loads from a normal HTTPS domain with no proxy tricks. If your school's filter blocks it, ask IT to whitelist eggycar2.cc.
Why does my egg keep falling off?
Almost always: too much throttle. Try the same run with half the gas pedal. Smooth, slow forward motion is faster in the long run than aggressive bursts that crack the egg.
Can I save my progress?
Personal bests are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data will reset them. There's no cloud save in this version.
Who made Eggy Car?
Eggy Car was originally developed and published by Beedo Games, an indie studio specialising in browser-based physics games. Trademarks and assets remain the property of their respective owners.
